One step away from perfection…a forever home!

It’s impossible to think that this super sweet dog was abandoned! Who could give up such an adorable, affectionate animal? Ducky would love to find a forever family that can love him back as fiercely as he loves them.

Ducky loves:
* Cuddling! If allowed, he’ll snuggle you on the couch, in the bed, on the floor, wherever he can!
* Squeaky toys! Nothing gets his attention quite like the squeak of a brand new toy.
* Training! Ducky loves learning new tricks and will practice them with you all day. So far he knows sit, down, stay, kennel, and has even learned jumping over an agility jump.
* FOOD! He’ll do almost any trick for treats! Ducky loves food so much that he is afraid it will not always be plentiful so he’ll protect it. Therefore he prefers to dine alone and not be bothered while he eats.

It’s been a long road for Ducky, and he’s ready for a family of his own! A yard would be fantastic, but he’s done well in his fosters’ apartment with walks and playtime. He is house and crate trained, and is quiet while his fosters are away. He’s overcome so much of his fear of strangers and is getting better at meeting new people every day! Ducky has made some great dog friends but he does need a proper introduction. Once he’s comfortable with a dog, he makes a great companion and likes to play. But he can be a little choosy.
