If you're searching for the most devoted and loving best friend ever....Jazzy is the puppy you want to have around! Jazzy, at just about 9 months old and 7 lbs (anticipated full-grown weight of approximately 9 lbs) , is initially a bit hesitant...then the most bonded and loving girl around. She's also very beautiful and so sweet. It makes her foster mom smile to watch Jazzy having the time of her life in her home. With the great nutrition she's receiving, Jazzy is gaining weight and is happy and healthy! Her new photo shows her adorable ears on a smiling cute-as-can-be face!

This loving Chiweeny enjoys her time with her foster mom so much that she joins her just about everywhere...a true best friend! She just generally enjoys all kind and gentle people. Jazzy is truly a little lap-dog extraordinaire and derives so much joy from her time spent with kind, dog-loving people. Jazzy also enjoys other dogs who are gentle to play with and great companions.

This adorable puppy exudes love and loyalty...and it's catching! Jazzy's tough early life has left some initial shyness..but a soft touch and a yummy treat are perfect to bring Jazzy out of her shell. She continues to blossom every day that she's out of the shelter and in a loving and kind environment.

Jazzy's bond to her people and her small size leads us to believe that Jazzy would be happy in either an active retiree's home...she would blossom with the time, attention and lap time that this type of family would offer. Or a family with dog-loving, very gentle children who respect Jazzy's small size would also be so much fun.

Jazzy is so portable that she is able to accompany her family just about anywhere...be it under the seat on a plane or riding shotgun in the car, Jazzy is ready and willing. She is a welcome guest in every situation...when comfortable, her joy starts with her little wagging tail and works its way to the smile on her cuter-than-cute face. Watch out - before you know it, Jazzy has crept into your lap and snuggled up to spend time together. Say the word walk ...or simply play together...and Jazzy is all over it. Off she'll go in anticipation of not only an adventure, but an interaction with loving humans and friendly dogs. Jazzy has an amazing attitude for a little dog from a scary shelter... it was definitely her great temperament that saved this sweet pup's life.

We've requested that Jazzy be spayed prior to her transport to Denver. We're not optimistic that this will occur due to far too few vets in this industrial area of Texas. If it doesn't, Farfel's will be happy to cover all costs for Jazzy's spay and microchip if our Denver vet is used.

Jazzy will arrive on transport in Denver on Sunday 3/26/17. If interested in this sweet, devoted and very silly best friend, please fill out an application at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/ and submit to farfelsapps@gmail.com or fax to 303-443-7730.

About Farfel's Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We own a pet boutique named Farfel's Farm on Pearl Street in Boulder, CO. We have had the good fortune to find our niche in the Boulder community and experience success. We felt it very important to "pay it forward" in gratitude for our good luck. We couldn't think of a better endeavor than to save dogs who were out of time in the southern states, yet had been identified with great temperaments. We dedicate our efforts to their good health and ultimate wonderful, permanent homes.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Pets are transported from the southern states approximately twice per month. Almost 100% of the time, the dogs are spoken for as a result of adoption applications that can be referenced under Adoption at farfelsrescue.com. We study the applications. If the app indicates there is a match, followed up by a home visit and reference checks, the process moves to the next step. The adopter is committing to a 2-week foster (of course the dog can be returned at any time prior), and can then choose to finalize the adoption.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adoptions start out as a 2-week mandatory foster period. During that time, Farfel's covers all vet issues if one of Farfel's rescue vets is used. We also serve as a support with trainers and behaviorists on board for questions. An Adoption Application and an Adoption Contract must be completed before any dog can begin their 2-week foster. Our average adoption fee runs about $395. This amount serves to cover vetting, spay/neuter, all vaccinations, heart worm testing, temperament testing and transport. Our dogs come from Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and rural Colorado.
