Autumn (Spayed)'s Story...
"Autumn" is a pretty 4-year old female kitty who came to the HSOV on March 7, 2017 and rejoined several of her former housemates who had shared her previous home. "Autumn" and her friends became homeless after their mistress passed away :(

"Autumn" has a pale brown tabby short smooth coat with orange highlights, a long tail, and a beautiful face with golden eyes and a brown button nose. "Autumn" is a frightened little girl at the present time and can't understand why she is confined to a small cage all by herself :( Our kennel techs are giving her extra TLC and trying to let her know that she is with her new best friends who are there to help her.

"Autumn" was given vaccinations, wormer, and Revolution flea treatment on March 7, 2017. She was spayed on June 7, 2017 and was also given rabies vaccine. Autumn weighed 8.7 lbs.on that date.

Autumn was given her freedom on June 9, 2017 and is now an outdoor HSOV shelter mascot kitty~

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Autumn (Spayed), a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
