Miles's Story...
Who wants a dog who can run and play for miles and miles? Well, meet Miles! This big Lab mix had a very bad past, but his enthusiasm for life is unmatched. We're pretty sure this dog doesn't know how to walk, only hop and bound like a giant black bunny! His favorite thing in the world is his ball with a handle that he can carry around everywhere with him, but any kind of toy someone is kind enough to throw to him is a-okay with him. Miles is great with other dogs who aren't intimidated by his energy level, but he might be a little much for very young children. He has allergies but is doing well on a simple management program, so don't be shy about that. Miles sure isn't bothered by it! This big, lovable goof is neutered, Lyme's tested, dewormed, flea treatment, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and ready to go!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miles, a Coudersport Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Coudersport, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Coudersport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coudersport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coudersport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coudersport paves the way for another one to be saved.
