My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you looking for a fun-loving hiking, walking and jogging buddy? Then Jack is your guy! This young lad has received a second chance at life and is taking full advantage of it. From a high kill shelter in Roswell, NM, this poor guy was picked up as a stray and then relinquished by this "people" b/c they didn't want to pay the impound fee. He was so kennel-stressed and shut down when he arrived in Salt Lake City, that he cowered in the corner of his crate at his foster home for the first 48 hours. But, a little time, patience and some good ol' TLC brought this delightful boy out of his shell. He has transformed into the most amazing dog! He gets along great with other dogs, is respectful of the resident cat and is just a little shy with new people. But, he warms up quickly and, once he trusts you, he is your best friend! Jack is approximately 3 years old. He is house-trained, crate-trained and loves to walk and jog on leash. He is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.
