Ariel came into the shelter with three other rabbits. She is bonded with Millie, as they have lived their lives together. These little girls are approximately 3 months old. Both girls are happy, and playful and enjoy grooming each other. They are getting the hang of using their litter box, and are improving every day. Ariel and Millie are good with being handled, and once they get to know you they are young enough that you can train them yourselves. Keeping in mind, rabbits are very social and can easily be trained the same as a cat, or dog with lots of patience. If you are interested in adopting a bonded pair of females, come in to the shelter to meet these girl. You may speak with any of the staff for more information. We are open Tuesday to Saturday from 12:00-5:00.

About Our Shelter...

See our website at www.spca.bc.ca/CampbellRiver for all of our current adoption prices, hours of operation, etc.

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
