LEXI loves to flop down and roll back and forth on her back with a toy in her mouth and her feet in the air. She's a happy puppy who likes to do al the things puppies like to do - play, eat, cuddle and sleep. She is doing very well with housetraining and is crate trained as well. She's learning to walk well on leash as well. She is up to date with vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and will be spayed with our vet when she's ready. She's a Red Heeler/Lab about 11 weeks old. We are a foster-based rescue so we have no facility for you to view our adoptable animals. Our process is: email/text conversation, online application, greetmeet/home visit, trial adoption, stay in touch. On rare occasions we will adopt out of state, but we mostly try to adopt in the Santa Fe/Albuquerque/LosAlamos/RioRancho greater area of New Mexico.

About Desert Paws Inc. Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small rural rescue, but we are the "missing link" for abandoned animals in our area. We are surrounded by poverty-stricken towns, reservations, and campgrounds where animals are periodically dumped, abandoned or worse. We rehab them, get them medical attention, spay/neuter/vaccinate them, get them into loving foster homes, and placed with forever families. When we have them ready for adoption, these are great sociable, house-trained pets.

Come Meet Our Pets...

2-3 times per month we are at Teca Tu (Sambusco mall in Santa Fe). Other adoption dates in Santa Fe and Albuquerque as well
