Meet Knonei! This handsome 4 month old boy was found in a puppy pile with his brothers by our Lucky Dog team during their trip to Puerto Rico last month beside a ferry parking lot on the way to Culebra. At about 16 pounds, he is very kind, energetic and affectionate toward everyone he meets and is as cute as can be! Although Knone gets along well with dogs, we haven't had a chance to see him interact with kids or cats yet. If you have them, let us know, and we'll find out more.

Knone is a sweet but shy boy, but will need to go to a home with another canine sibling to show him the ropes and help him to be the confident, happy dog we know he can be. Knone will need mental and physical stimulation on a daily basis.

Knone is still a puppy, and he will need a committed owner to provide training and exercise to be a well-behaved dog.

Like most puppies, Knone will need to work on his housetraining. Knone will also need to go to obedience school so he can grow into a well-socialized dog!

The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Emily Jagdmann at!

About Lucky Dog Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a group of highly motivated and highly dedicated volunteers. We spend countless hours making sure that wonderful dogs find loving forever homes. We don't do it for money -- we do it for the joy a dog can bring to its new family; we do it for our love of animals; and we do it to save lives!

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at

Our Adoption Process...

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!
