Meet Wilma!

Wilma and her sister Betty (also shown on our site) are 7 1/2 month old Maltipoos. Sadly they were abandoned by their owner when they moved. The landlord heard barking and found these two cuties left behind. Life 4 Paws stepped in to help. Wilma was spayed earlier this week and is awaiting her grooming appointment. We can't wait to see what a beauty she will be with a much needed haircut. We will post new pics soon.

If you would like to offer Wilma a forever home, please visit our website www.life4paws.org to fill out an adoption application.

Join us for our mobile adoption events. Saturdays 11am - 3pm at 21531 Strathern St. Canoga Park. Check out our website for upcoming dates.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wilma, a Canoga Park Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Canoga Park, or seeking a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) puppy from a breeder in Canoga Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Canoga Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Canoga Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Canoga Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
