Hello, partner! I'm MAVERICK (DOB ~03/01/2011), a male domestic longhair tuxedo. I was originally found as a stray and turned into a local animal control facility - but didn't stay there too long before I was adopted! However, because the adopters' cat didn't especially welcome me as a new family member, unfortunately I was returned to the animal control facility after only a couple of days. The lady at Fancy Feline Rescue met me (how could she not - I sauntered right up to her and began giving her head-butts, leg rubs, and following her around!). And even though she wasn't there to specifically pull me, I made such an impression on her that she decided to accept me into the Fancy Feline clowder. I enjoy my individual attention, being petted and stroked, and in return I give the love back! I am very watchful and cautious, and would probably prefer to be in a home with no other cats. If you'll give me a chance to be your new family member, I promise I'll give you lots of love, laughter, loyalty and companionship for years to come! I am neutered, up-to-date with vaccines, negative for Feline FIV/FeLV, dewormed, have received flea preventative, and will be microchipped and eligible to receive a 30-day trial of pet health insurance. My adoption fee is $125.00.
