My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blueberry is looking for a home in Missouri! He is located in Kansas City, but his foster mom will transport him to St. Louis!

In the words of his foster mom:

Blueberry, also known as "Boo Bear," is an altered FIV+ male cat around 1.5 years old. He may take a minute to warm up to new people, but is a complete lovebug once he knows you. He rubs against our legs, head boops us, and lets us hold him.

He showed up on our porch late last summer (rural area). He was young and skinny. He roamed our field and our neighbor's field for a few months, hunting mice. But he would always come back to our porch every night for lovins, food, water, and shelter that we built for him. We recently got him fixed, tested, and rabies vaccine and he is currently kept in our garage until he finds a home. He needs one quickly so that he can start being a house kitty and not a garage kitty!

Since last summer, he has filled out to be a strapping young kitty, and is very striking with a jet black coat and ice blue to light green eyes. He has white paws and a white chest patch.

Boo Bear LOVES dogs of all shapes and sizes once he knows they are friendly. He tries to rub up against all of our dogs. He tries to head boop them. A home with a laid back friendly dog would be perfect for him. He seems to be okay with our altered female cats as well, and may do fine in a home with other cats as long as they are properly introduced, and laid back.. He uses his litter box in the garage.
