Mr. Peabody's Story...
Mr. Peabody was found as a stray on the street in Korea in a small southern city by 911 dispatcher. He was nicely groomed and were very people friendly, so they surely expected that the owner would show up for him soon. It's been a month at a local shelter, and we did not hear from his previous family about him. He is a bit nervous being around other dogs/ animals, but he gets used to them once he gets introduced slowly. He is estimated to be about 2 years old weighing about 4.6 Kg, and is fully up-to-date with vaccinations. He is scheduled to be neutered soon, and after his procedure, he is available for adoption immediately. We named him Mr. Peabody because he too is waiting for a new adoptive parents to embrace him and love him forever. Mr. Peabody is currently staying at a shelter, and he will only be brought to the US when we secure a permanent home in the US.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mr. Peabody, a Ft Collins Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Ft Collins, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Ft Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
