Maggie's Story...
All our dogs are fostered in NC or VA until they are adopted(no matter where you see the dog listed). We can transport them to one of our many northeastern delivery points.

Lab mixes born 2-10-17. These babies lost their mom shortly after birth(8 siblings). They were bottle fed. The dad was a smallish lab mix mom was a lab. The pups should mature around 45 pounds depending on what parent they take after. These pups are pre spoiled and very socialized.

They will go to their new home current on puppy shots, de-wormed, microchipped and with a certificate of health.

We require a pre-screen application to adopt. You can get that on our main website at www.saveamuttkennel.info

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Burlington Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Burlington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Burlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
