THEIR STORY: Meet COCO.. She was abandoned outside of an apartment complex when her owners moved. She then became pregnant and had her babies in the bushes. She was soaking wet and in a horrible storm just before we rescued her. Her babies have since all found loving homes and now it is her turn. She is spayed, vaccinated (distemper and rabies shot) dewormed, and has revolution on the back of her neck. She is 1 1/2 - 2 years old
PERSONALITY:
She has NO mean bone in her body. She also allows endless kisses. She likes to make biscuits (kneading) in surrounding blankets and in her cat bed that she loves (video attached). Just like any newly adopted pet, she will need time to get adjusted to a new home. Right now she is in a foster home with a great family, but is ready for her FOREVER home. This is what her foster Lisa had to say about Coco:
"CoCo is a wonderful kitty. Gentle and loving. She takes a moment to get to know you but when she lets you in, she is all love, loyalty and warmth. For the first few days with her she wouldn't come out from under the bed. I would just go in and sit on the floor and slowly she would approach me. She PURRS like nobody's business. She now waits at the door when she hears me coming. She also follows me around EVERYWHERE! She loves to chase her own tail around and will do so until she gets dizzy lol. She makes the cutest little chirp sounds and will now hop up on the bed so I can pet her. She will rub up against me if I sit on the bed and will stretch out beside me. She would do best in a quieter home. She is a sweet cat that deserves a nice home- very gentle with me-never growled or hissed or swat, just PURRS!;

IN ORDER TO ADOPT FROM US:
1) Please show up with a cat carrier for a safe return to his/her new home
2)An adoption contract will be filled out (your personal information as well as mine). THey way you can contact us at any time as you'll have our info.
3) Adoption fee is $15 This is to help cover some of the vet bills. She is spayed and vaccinated (Rabies and distemper shot) dewormed twice, and has revolution on the back of her neck. A cat box, cat carrier, and food dishes are included with her adoption.
4)We will take a picture of you and your newly adopted animal so we can share it on our Facebook page. This is what I'll also send to you in an email so you have a copy as well.
WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE FROM US:
1) You will receive a 4 page informational packet that can answer any questions you may have. Has information of places to get discounted meds and other things.
2) Spay/Neuter certificate OR vet documents
3) Copy of the adoption contract (will have kittens DOB and background on it as well as my contact information)

***Within the first few weeks to a month you will know if the adoption is not working out. At this time we will take the animal back. We don't want to see them given to the Humane Society (which can euthanize upwards of 50 or more cats a day like our local shelter) or left to fend for themselves on the streets. Please never let the humane society be a choice for ANY animal. They rely on us for their well-being******
We are a registered 501c3 non-profit rescue organization located in New Smyrna Beach. We do not have a shelter, but rely on foster parents and homes to house our rescued animals. Because of this our adoption times vary and are very flexible.
