Chloe is a very sweet and loveable 5-year-old little girl. She likes to take naps, go on car rides and enjoy a good cuddle at the end of the night. She is very obedient and sits for all of her meals and treats. She walks very nicely on leash and is completely potty-trained. We haven't had many encounters with other dogs/cats but she seems to be very passive and we would expect she would do well with other animals. Chloe loves people and deserves to go to a great home that will return the love!

About The Maryland SPCA

About Our Shelter...

The Maryland SPCA connects wonderful pets to loving owners. We are not affiliated with any national animal organization, and we do not receive any government or United Way funding. Our mission is to prevent cruelty and neglect of animals through fostering the humane relationship between animals and people. We operate primarily in the Greater Baltimore Metropolitan area.

To make sure that our dogs and cats do not contribute to the pet overpopulation problem, every one is spayed or neutered before going into a new home. The cost is included in the adoption fee, as are the costs of shots and other necessary care. In addition, a free Positive Pooch class is available to our dog adopters.

There is no set time limit for how long an animal can remain in our adoption program. As long as an animal maintains general good health and a sound temperament, we keep him or her until adopted. We pride ourselves on providing premium care to the animals in a clean, pleasant environment. Our adoption staff works diligently to pair up adopters with the best animal match for their homes and lifestyles.

We transport animals from other shelters to our adoption center to help more animals get adopted. We also help pet owners find new homes for their pets so their animals don’t need to enter shelter care.
