My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jase! Jase is a lucky little guy who somehow found himself at a no-kill shelter in Louisiana (lucky because he did not end up at a high kill shelter!). The problem is, the shelter has few adoptions, so little Jase didn't get adopted. The shelter reached out to us to help get him up north where there were more adopters and here he is!

Jase is approximately 2-3 years old, about 15 lbs. and is full grown. Jase has a true JRT personality, so all you Jack Russell lovers, this is your boy! He wants to be a big dog and can have that big dog attitude, but when all is said and done, he really just loves to play. He is not a terribly high energy boy but he does love to run around in his current fenced yard. He is actually a chill little dude who loves to lay on the couch and hang out. We are told he is a little too curious about cats, so while he was not aggressive with them when tested, he is likely to chase them.

Jase is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines, and has been tested (negative) for heartworm. He is currently on HW and flea prevention and has been dewormed. He has gotten a clean bill of health!

Jase is currently being fostered in a family home with other dogs and is doing well. He needs some work on basic training but is a smart little guy who is eager to please (what JRT isn't smart as a whip?).

Jase will be available for visiting this Sunday, April 2, 2017, at the Petco at 545 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, Md from 12pm-3pm. Applications sent in ahead of the adoption event preferred!

Interested adopters please email MJsAnimalSanctuary@gmail.com to request an adoption application. Adopters subject to reference checks, vet reference, home visit(s) and meet and greet(s). Adoption fee applies.
