Hey. I'm Jewls. I'm only 12 years old but i'm full of spunk and energy. I've been at the shelter for over 3 years now. Its kinda lonely here. I've watched hundreds of dogs leave with there new families. I've seen how excited they get when they are told some one might want them. I can only imagine the feeling of having my own home. It must be amazing. I've never had a real home thought. Before I was brought here I was always having puppies. then when MACC picked me up i had my last litter of puppies. when they got older i watched them all find a family one by one, and then I was alone. The people here let me out some times and some times give me toys and blankets. But its not a family. I hear stories from some of the others about what there life was like before they ended up here. Some of them are sad but most of them are amazing. Most of them had family where they got hugs and kisses and toys and treats all the time. some of them have lots of small people, or other dogs, or the stuck up cat things. there are some that are to little to understand whats going on or who think this is normal as they were born here like my pups. and then there are the dogs like me. the ones who have never had a soft couch to lie on or a child to kiss the ones of up who have never had home. I hope that maybe one day i will have a family of my own. i would love a home with a mom and kid to run with i wouldn't even mind sharing it.
