Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gunnar thinks he’s a Chihuaha and really just wants to play with you. He is looking for a family to help him channel his energy and adjust to his actual size, not his puppy size. He’s high-energy, but knows basic commands (sit, stay, down) and is good on a short leash. Although he’s young, he’s through the worst of puppyhood (all that pee! the chewing!).
When he’s off-leash, he can be shy and stand-offish, except with girls and women. He can be frightened by sudden movements, but does not become aggressive – he just heads off to his crate, his safe place.
P.S. The name Gunnar means fighter, soldier, and attacker, but mostly is referred to by the Viking saying which means Brave and Bold warrior (gunnr “war” and arr “warrior”), but this big boy is not a fighter in anything but name. He could use a family to help him live up to the “brave and bold” meaning.
