Cooper's Story...
Cooper is an adorable little lowrider puppy. He is about 3 months old and 10 lbs. His foster mom says: ” He is the absolute cutest little guy. His short little legs and his long body make you just want to snuggle him all day. He loves all dogs and cats but will chase the kitties trying to get them to play. He loves to sleep with his head cuddled on you at all times every night. He loves his toys and will play all day unless he has a lap to sit in. He is not house broken yet but tries really hard so I don’t think it will take much longer before he is 100%. He has the perfect personality…. perfect mix of playful, silly and cuddly and loving. He will be great for any family!” Cooper is neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $450. We require a fully fenced yard not invisible fence. To adopt Cooper please go to gimmeshelteranimalrescue.org to apply.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cooper, a Sagaponack Labrador Retriever/Corgi puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Corgi for sale in Sagaponack, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Corgi puppy from a breeder in Sagaponack.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sagaponack already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sagaponack breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Corgi breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sagaponack paves the way for another one to be saved.
