Tony is a 1-2 year old male long-haired cat with butterscotch coloring. He was found as a stray. A nice family was feeding him and he was gaining weight nicely. With the inclement weather, they wanted to bring him inside and they contacted HDDCR to help with him. He's incredibly sweet, very much a snuggler and loves to be on your lap or in the same room as you where he can see you, loves to sleep in bed and curl up near your head. Seems fine with the family dog, except I do have to feed them separately, because both are territorial about their food. Not a very loud or vocal cat. He purrs but no whining. He has all his claws. Uses litter box consistently. He really is a very special cat, not sure how else to describe him. He does fine with crate and car and vet too.
Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
