Blacker is a sweet, beautiful senior girl who needs extra TLC that her current owner is unable to provide due to her busy schedule. Her owner feels that she needs someone who can give her more time and attention than she is currently getting. Her owner has had her since birth. Blacker is a Mountain Fiest and needs someone to spoil her in her golden years. Do you have room for her in your family? Take a look at her pics!! So, so cute!!!
Age: 12 years old
Breed: Mountain Fiest
Sex: Female (confirmed spayed)
Location: Westover, AL
Vet Info: Blacker is confirmed spayed. Last 1 year rabies was in 2015. No other vaccines or H/W. She is approximately 12 pounds of cuteness!!! She is partially blind from cata
racts and sees very little. She is diabetic and needs two shots per day.
Owner Info: Blacker's owner has had her since birth. She is getting older now and needs more time and attention than her owner is able to provide which is why they are trying to find a new family for her. Her owner says what a "sweet dog" she is and knows that she will do beautifully with a new family who just wants to spoil and love on her. "We are so in hopes Blacker will be placed with a family that will love her as we do but are better able to provide for her needs."
Blacker is an outdoor dog with a fenced yard who is mainly in her own pen since she lost most of her vision. She is not housebroken and but she is leash-trained yet as she spends her time outside. She is a friendly, outgoing girl who is good with men and women. Her owner has not said if she is good with children but she does live with other animals and is god with them (2 other dogs, a cat and a rabbit).
Blacker is not possessive over treats or toys and she is not aggressive in any way. She is just a sweet pea who would love to curl up on someone's lap inside and be cozy!
Her owner feels she adapts well to new environments. "She has been kept in an
outside pen with two other dogs. We are not home long enough to house train her. We moved her into a small pen by herself so other dogs would not eat her food. She seems to adjust well."
