About Meridian Canine Rescue

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fees are set at $300 for each dog. This money is used to cover veterinary expenses, as we do not receive any funding and do not have a vet clinic on-site. Before leaving our facility, all dogs are spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, examined, and treated for additional health concerns as necessary. If a dog arrives at our Rescue fully vetted, then his/her adoption fee is then used to help cover high vet bills for dogs who need more serious medical attention.

In order to adopt a dog from us, you must first come in and meet the dog. We love getting the opportunity to talk with families and to supervise meet-and-greets with all humans and dogs living in the household. This interaction gives us all a chance to get to know the dogs better and to discuss any potential challenges or concerns. We provide post-adoption support for life, so the on-site meet-and-greet is the first step to a great relationship.
