Freddie is a young pittie mix who came to us a few months ago. We noticed that while out playing he quickly stopped and had been favoring his rear leg. A recent vet visit confirmed what we were hoping wasn't true - he tore his ACL and needs surgery. We are hopeful since he is still just a pup that this will enable him to have a long life full of romps and fun times. Surgery at any time is an unexpected expense, but now we are struggling so please any donation you can make to help us is greatly appreciated and always tax deductible. Freddie joined PMAR when he was in a southern shelter that was closing for repair, and was at risk of losing his life because they were trying to clear the shelter. At just 9 months old, he still has his whole life ahead of him and deserves to be loved and have a family of his own. So here he is, now in a VT foster home, learning the ropes of how to be a good boy. So far we know he is about 40 pounds, good with other dogs and is an active boy who loves to run, play and get alot of exercise. He'd love an active family where he can go running and hiking. We can't wait for this sweet boy to find his true family - please help us tell his story and start his happily ever after!

All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary. Vet references are required and prior to adoption a home inspection will be conducted. Transport options available. Adoption fee applies.

Our Adoption Process...

We at Pibbles & More rescue animals from many situations. May it be from a shelter, bad home, or an unwanted furbaby... Once the animal is in our rescue they get the best treatment, care, love & training we can supply... So we work hard at finding the RIGHT family & home for our rescued babies. There is an adoption application that will need to be filled out, along with a home visit, vet check, personal references & an adoption donation... This fee varies from dog to dog. All our rescued animals are on flea/HW preventive Utd on shots and spayed or neutered... also all our animals are in foster care so this way we know the right home for each of our Furbabies.
