My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stormy is a four year old beagle/heeler mix and the happiest boy in the world. He gets along well with other dogs, cats, and especially people. He is happiest when cuddled up with his foster parents, playing tug of war, or taking a walk around outside. While he is playful, and can run for miles, he does enjoy a good nap or two. He is house trained, kennel trained, and very well behaved on a leash. He isn't the happiest about going into his cage, but when he does, he doesn't whine or bark at all. He is hesitant to take a bone or treat out of someone's hand, but he will take it if you set it down in front of him. Stormy would be a good fit for any type of family! He doesn't know any commands so far, but he does know sit when you have a treat in your hand! Also, he is still learning to understand what “go potty” means when he is outside, he just loves to sniff all the new scents and smells around. He gets very, very excited when he hears breakfast and dinner being made, and jumps all around. He is very food motivated! From the get go, he's been a very lovable, cuddly, energetic dog. If you're looking for a companion to play with, but also to cuddle up close to and take a nap with, Stormy is the perfect dog for you. He is neutered and up to date on shots. If you would like to meet Stormy, please call Teri at 630-897-7454. The adoption fee is $200.
