Pete's Story...
The name Pete is derived from a Greek word that means stone or rock. Pete's foster family thinks his name is perfect because it describes Pete perfectly. He is a rock solid loyal dog who will follow his people anywhere. Pete is excellent on the leash, knows basic commands, and is house trained.

Pete enjoys the company of the other dogs and children with whom he shares his foster home. Pete weighs about fifty pounds and is about two years old. He is very calm indoors, but he really enjoys his walks in the woods and around the neighborhood. In fact, because of his amazing leash skills, Pete would make an excellent running buddy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pete, a Roswell Vizsla dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Vizsla for sale in Roswell, or seeking a Vizsla dog from a breeder in Roswell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roswell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roswell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Vizsla breeders who help with Vizsla rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roswell paves the way for another one to be saved.
