Zach's Story...
PICTURES COMING SOON!

Zach is a beautiful 2 year old long coated Chihuahua. He was rescued from a breeding kennel so he hasn't known a lot of love in his past. He's learning quickly though and once he gets attached to you, he loves attention. He loves to snuggle and will give kisses when he's really comfortable with you. He's getting along fine with the dogs in his foster home and would probably like another dog to keep him company.

His adoption fee is $200 and includes vaccinations, worming, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, and neuter.

Please note that we do not place our dogs in homes on a first come first served basis. We do our best to find the perfect home for each of our babies.

You can fill out an adoption application at http://www.mhpets.com/application.php

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zach, a Mountain Home Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Mountain Home, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Mountain Home.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mountain Home already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mountain Home breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mountain Home paves the way for another one to be saved.
