Hello there,

My name is Jolene and I was born to be a cuddler. I'm super calm, sweet, and gentle. Do you need someone to help you relax after a long day of work? Well, I'm your gal. I have a very soothing aura around me. I'm not a chatty cat, but I do like to purr a lot. When I do speak, my meow is very soft and quiet...just enough to let you know that I'd there, but not to annoy you. I'm ready to find my own home with a family to love me. I would do well in a small or large family. I've been called a cool cat because I am very laid back. And, really...have you ever seen a cat with such remarkable facial markings? I'll be the talk of the cat community. Would you like to meet me? Please contact info@wagsfundrescue.com

Our Adoption Process...

ADOPTION PROCESS

We work hard to find the perfect home for all the dogs and cats in our care. Listed below is the sequence of events that we go through to assure that our pets and our applicants are the perfect match for each other:

1. Fill out and return our adoption application form.

2. After receiving your application, we will verify with your vet the care on your current or
previous animals.

3. We will contact you to discuss your current situation and which pet you are interested in
adopting.

4. After discussion, we will arrange a time for you to meet your prospective new family
member. We may suggest you bring your other pets to this meeting.

5. If the initial meeting goes well and both parties agree to move forward with the
adoption, we will make an appt and bring the pet to your home to meet all family
members - human and furry

6. If, at the home visit, both parties agree that the home is good match for the adoptable
pet, we will move forward with the adoption. (Please note, some dogs may require several “visits” to the home in order to feel comfortable and transition smoothly into their new environment.)

7. We ask the new family to have a crate, food, toys, treats, etc. ready before the home visit.

8. At the home visit we will review the Home Visit Checklist and Adoption Checklist, review and sign the adoption contract, collect the adoption fee ($200 for dogs, $75 for kittens, and $50 for cats) and take the Happy Tail photo.

9. That same volunteer will check in either by phone or email to make sure things are going well and to answer any questions you might have. Please respond in a timely manner (1-2 days)

10. 7-14 days after the adoption, we will collect the medical records for your adopted pet and send them to you. We will also update the pet’s microchip record with your information.
