Valentine's Story...
Are you ready for cuteness over load? This little boy was bought by a family and after a day they were giving him away. We got a call from a friend that got him and asked if we could take him on. He was not eating very much and cried, we are sure that is why the family wanted to give him up. The poor little boy was loaded with worms and miserable. We fixed him right up and within 24 hours it was a different story with him. We were told he was a Chihuahua that is going to stay tiny. He looks more like a Chiweenie to us. He is very small at only 3lbs and about 10 weeks old. He is fixed, age appropriate shots, micro chipped and on monthly prevention. We will not have this little guy long.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Valentine, a Great Falls Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Great Falls, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Great Falls.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Great Falls already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Great Falls breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Great Falls paves the way for another one to be saved.
