KAEL is one of the LUCK OF THE IRISH pups. He along with his momma and 5 siblings were rescued from a shelter on St. Patty’s Day. We’re guessing he is a border collie/terrier mix, but Momma isn’t talking and Dad didn’t stick around. For date of birth we are estimating end of February 2017. KAEL HAS BIG DREAMS. He’s dreaming of an endless supply of hugs, kisses, bones and walks. He’s dreaming of playing and cuddling. But most of all, he’s dreaming of a FAMILY to call his OWN. If you’re dreaming of a handsome, cuddly boy who will be your right hand man, KAEL would love to meet you.

Kael is guesstimated to be a terrier/border collie mix, born at the end of Feb 2017. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on age appropriate vaccinations.

AS WITH ALL YOUNG PUPS, this puppy will need constant supervision when not crated. Puppies will chew and get into trouble as any puppy would. A puppy needs a leader and someone to teach the basics of house training, obedience, and behavior. At the ages of 10-16 weeks, puppies tend to tire easily and take lots of naps. As they get older, they will need more exercise (walks, hikes, playing fetch, etc) to expend their energy and to be happy and healthy.

Don't get us wrong, we love puppies! However, we also want those interested in adopting a wee canine to make a thoughtful decision, be realistic in behavior expectations, and be prepared to provide proper and kind leadership.

For more information on our adoption process, please visit our website at www.youluckydogrescue.org and read our Adoption FAQ's and Before You Adopt documents. In addition you can complete an online adoption application from our website. You can also email info@youluckydogrescue.org for additional details.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.

Our Adoption Process...

Our Mission is to ensure the best fit for each individual dog and applicant. We will not make arrangements for you to meet any dogs outside of an adoption event until you have completed the adoption application. In addition, a dog will not be placed in your home before You Lucky Dog has conducted a thorough reference check and completed a home visit. Please understand that the adoption and home visit process is not designed to be frustrating and drawn out, but rather to guarantee the safety and happiness of the dogs. During the home check, we will make sure that each pet in that home has been neutered/spayed and is up to date on all of their shots. The home check will be completed by the foster for the dog that you are considering adopting when feasible. Our foster parents dedicate their time and money to loving and training these dogs, and we rely on their input when meeting with a potential adopter. If your application is approved and your home visit meets the requirements that we have established, you will be required to sign a contract in order to complete the adoption process. The adoption fee is $300. All dogs will be spayed or neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on all shots prior to adoptions.
