Gretchen is a petite 3-4-year-old Labrador Corgi mix at about 30lbs. She is still getting used to her new surroundings and is very shy . Once she gets comfortable, this adorable girl is high-spirited and loves to run and play. She is dog-friendly, takes treats gently, loves riding along in the car with you, and is house-trained.

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $500, which includes spay/neuter, current on rabies / DAPPV / bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, heartworm test, transport from Texas to Seattle. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.

Animal History: This dog was rescued from euthanasia at a high-kill shelter in Texas and joined us from Saving Our Strays rescue partner.

Dog Gone Seattle is a Seattle-based non-profit corporation established in 2013 as a community based organization and in 2017 as a non-profit corporation seeking to place homeless dogs in forever homes in the Seattle area. We take in dogs from high-kill shelters in California and Texas, as well as dogs from unfortunate circumstances in Washington and beyond. Our motto is Rescue, Respect, Repeat -- each dog in our care will get the veterinary and behavioral attention necessary promote a life long match.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters must complete the adoption application including veterinary and personal references. In addition, a home check may be required. Adoptions will not be approved without an in-person meeting with the adoptable dog and a volunteer or foster from the rescue organization. We reserve the right to refuse adoption to any person for any reason at any time.
