About City of Taylor Animal Shelter

About Our Shelter...

The Taylor Animal Shelter is a municipal ran no-kill shelter for adoptable dogs and cats. The shelter provides many services, such as animal adoptions, lost and found animals, licensing, animal rescue within the city, and responding to the complaints of residents regarding neglected and loose animals. With the support of our volunteer group TASKK our goal is to get every animal that comes through the shelter into the forever home they deserve. We have a variety of dogs and cats available through out the year for adoption so please come in and see these wonderful pets.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are located at 25555 Northline just East of Beech Daly. Our hours are Monday thru Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 9:00 AM to 11 AM on Saturday. We have adoption events the first Saturday of every month (subject to change) so please come by and see our wonderful pets we have available for adoption.

Our Adoption Process...

Fees for adoption are $50 for non-sterilized dogs/cats and $20 for sterilized dogs/cats. There is a sterilization refund of $30 once the dog/ cat is sterilized. There is a contract that is needed to be completed at time of adoption but there is no screening for potential adopters. The sterilization is required by the contract. We do not accept cash or checks. Only credit and debit cards are accepted at time of adoption.
