My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Apr 26, 2017: Helen is a six year old lovable chocolate girl! She has blossomed into a snuggle bug who is the envy of the neighborhood on leash and who loves to retrieve. She rides great in the car and thinks squeaky balls are the best. Helen prefers to be the center of attention, so she would like to be a solo dog. She loves to be with her people, inside and out, so she doesn’t need a fence and has no issues with stairs. Helen not only likes to be with her humans, but needs someone with a short workday or one who doesn’t work outside the home, since she needs two insulin shots a day on a regular schedule. She is perfect for her shots and is a very well-regulated diabetic. House Manners? Absolutely! You don’t need to worry about food disappearing off the counter, or leaving your shoes on the floor or holes in the back yard. She's a very well behaved girl!

Helen is a 6-year-old spayed female chocolate lab. Helen weighs 60 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.

Helen needs to go to a family where she won't be left alone for a long workday. She loves her humans. She will need someone who can commit to giving her insulin on a regular schedule every day. She needs to be the only dog.

Helen is a perfectly wonderful dog but likes to chase cats so would be a terrific dog for anyone who does not have cats. She is very loving and well mannered and she loves to be with you, indoors or out.

HELEN is the sweetest chocolate shadow. She has perfect house manners, loves the car, walks, all humans and her squeaky babies. Helen doesn't see very well from untreated diabetes and needs insulin shots twice a day. She's not a fan of dogs that get in her face, but loves her humans. She walks well on an Easy Walk harness, and is approved for townhome living.
