This handsome man is Petey. Petey is a neutered, 1 1/2 year old Smooth Fox Terrier. He came to us after being rescued from a horrible animal hoarding situation where he was kept in an apartment his entire life. He shook for days. So scared, so scared of being outside, so unsure of everything. Just terrified. Now, he is such a happy pup!! Loving life and experiencing all kinds of firsts. First toy, first collar, first shots, first real affection, first chew bone, first time he got to run outside in a yard, first snow (he liked it until he realized he was cold) the first time he got to snuggle up next to a human under a blanket, first time he didn't have to fight for food, the first time he was kissed on his head and told he was a good boy. Even living like he was forced to, He's such a loving, sweet boy. LOVES to be right with us. He is good with other dogs and he loves my 9 year old son. Growls at cats. He has no clue what they are. He has done great with potty training. He caught on to that very well. I call him my Sweet Pete! He will absolutely melt your heart! He is up to date on all shots, flea tick.
