Tucker is a 1 year old dog in his goofy teenager phase. He is so smart and loyal but will test his boundaries. He is very friendly and respectful when meeting new people. He walks so well on a leash you have to do a double take that he is still connected to it. He is extremely active and enjoys all things sports (spring pole, flirt pole, treadmill, ball).
Tucker would do best with older kids in his home, he can be selective with other dogs so proper introductions are a requirement. Tucker lives for structure and he would do best in a home that continues with his training and structure.

Our comprehensive adoption process includes a pre-adoption application, background checks (including vet check), home visit and adoption contract. You must be 21 or over to adopt from us. Unfortunately we are unable to adopt our Pitties or Pitty mixes to adopters living in Prince George's County, MD, due to the BSL in place there. Please remember to check your home owners policy to make sure that your insurance company will cover you for bully breeds.

Pitties and Purrs is a small 501c3, foster-based rescue in Baltimore, MD. Our rescue dogs come from all over the country in order to be rehabilitated and to ultimately find their forever homes.
