Nikko is a female Pit Bull mix.  She is four years old and has epilepsy and takes Phenobarbital twice a day to prevent seizures.  She was living in GA with her parents who had a human child and could no longer afford her medications, so they were going to have her put down.  Their friends who reside in Pompano Beach knew what a great dog she was and committed themselves to finding her a great home, so they drove to GA and picked her and and brought her down to Pompano Beach.  She is up to date on all shots, she is NOT spayed at this time, but they are offering to have her spayed for a great new owner.  Nikko has a mild temperament, she is gentle and friendly and is good with children and other animals.  If interested in this young lady please email her foster parents at

About Animal Rescue Force of South Florida, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Animal Rescue Force of South Florida is a non-profit, ALL VOLUNTEER, 501(c)3 organization that rescues homeless and unwanted dogs and cats from high kill shelters and elsewhere, and finds them good, forever, loving homes.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Many of our animals are in foster homes, but we do have some cats and dogs at our Adoption Center in West Palm Beach. We also have adoptable cats on site at several PetSupermarket locations throughout Palm Beach County, as well as at the Delray Beach PetSmart. We have adoption events on most weekends all over Palm Beach County. Please visit our website, www.animalrescueforce.org, and click on Events to see what events are coming up.

Our Adoption Process...

A potential adopter fills out an adoption application in person or online. The application is reviewed by an Adoption Counselor. Then that applicant is interviewed and, if the candidate and the pet are a good match, the paperwork is completed to finalize the adoption.
