Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Stitch is a 1 1/2 year old (possibly younger) energetic Westie mix boy. He is smart, happy, inquisitive, loving and has such a very joyful spirit. He loves to play and to cuddle. Stitch is not good with cats...he goes after them with vigor. He's a confident, but not aggressive boy--pretty typical for the Westie in him. He loves to play with other dogs, but is too much for an older dog because he would stress him/her out by his frequent efforts to play. Stitch definitely needs a home with a fenced yard (not invisible fence) and would love an active family or individual (without preschool children) and would do best in a home where he would not need to be left alone for a typical work week. And while he's not perfectly potty trained, he's very close. (An adoption donation of $300 is required.)
If you are interested in adopting this dog, please contact CHEW Dog Rescue at pawsontherun@gmail.com and request and application form. If you have previously submitted an application form, there is no need to re-apply. Just let us know you're interested in this dog. We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent. We reserve the right to refuse an applicant if the home situation is incompatible with the needs of the rescue dog. Rescue is about doing our best for the dog. We do home and reference checks. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date with current vaccinations, before being placed in their forever homes.
