This adorable little fur ball is Tyra! She's not quite 3 months old yet. Her Brother, Cosmo, and her were rescued from a back yard breeder who was not properly caring for the pup. Tyra is one of the lucky ones. She is in a great foster home right now getting all the loving care she needs and learning to be a great dog. She's very smart and pretty mellow over all. She has moments of puppy craziness of course but is doing really wonderful with her training so far.

Please help her find a forever family and home of her own.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tyra, a Sherman Oaks German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Sherman Oaks, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Sherman Oaks.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sherman Oaks already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sherman Oaks breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sherman Oaks paves the way for another one to be saved.
