Elroy's Story...
Elroy is a tiny 1-year old Beagle mix who needs a home. He is very small at 14 pounds. He is very friendly and playful. Elroy is really still a puppy so he is still chewing a little and does need some training. He is heartworm negative, neutered and micro-chipped. He gets along with other dogs and does seem to like walking on a leash. Elroy is a little afraid of cats and we don’t know yet how he is with children but he is a very friendly dog who deserves to have a home and family who loves him. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elroy, a Williamsburg Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Williamsburg, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Williamsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Williamsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Williamsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Williamsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
