My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little cutie is Alfie. He is about 3 months old and currently weighs 20#. We are guessing he is a Labrador Retriever and Spaniel mix. The weight charts tell us he should be a 40-60 pound adult. Alfie is a typical puppy and alternates between playing with his brother and the other dogs in his foster home and cuddling in for a nap.

Alfie and his brother Stewie were found as strays and dumped off at a shelter in rural Missouri. The boys had been on their own for a little bit, they were cold and hungry. Both were very happy to get to a warm foster home with plenty of groceries. Three month old puppies are like teenage boys, hungry all the time.

Alfie is a pretty calm pup and is happy to sit and pose or a picture. He is doing great at house training. His forever home needs to have the ability to get him out to potty every 4 hours through the day until he gets older.

Alfie is all ready to go to his forever home. He has been neutered and microchipped. Alfie has had his rabies vaccination and the first of three required distemper vaccinations. Adopters will be responsible for his second and third distemper boosters on April 7th and April 28th.
