A - LUKE's Story...
Hi, my name is LUKE. What’s yours? Nice to meet ya!

Hey! Before you get attached to me, read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in Houston, TX but I want to get OUT of Houston and OUT of Texas so I can have a really good life. I want to see Texas in my rear view mirror. A nice person came along and took me in and, now, I am ready to hit the road to your house! Uh, make that “our” house, OK?

Wanna know more about me? OK, here goes! I am a Boxer/Retriever mix. I am 2 years old. I weigh 61 pounds. I have had all of my shots and been neutered. YIKES! I am also potty-trained.

Those funny-looking creatures, named humans, I think they are called, told me that they think that I am pretty darn cute. What do YOU think, huh?

Can you stand hearing more good stuff about me? I am a happy and active boy. Everyone who knows me says I am a super sweet big guy. I'd like a home with older kids (since I'm a big, healthy doggie) and I can be the only dog or it's OK if you already have another doggie. I love being loved on and giving back love to my peeps.

Oh, how I would love to have my own home and some peeps to cuddle with and they could love me and take good care of me. That is my first dream! My second dream is all about treats and playing and romping with my new family. Ah, I can see it all now!

My foster mom loves me SO much that she only wants me to fly to my new home even if a pet transport truck was available. See my adoption information below.

If you would like to take me home (and you know you do), please email mpringle001@comcast.net and she can get me on my way to a new and loving home! My adoption fee is $650 USD and includes my vetting, neutering, microchip, health certificate, travel crate AND transportation on United Airlines from Houston, TX to areas in the Northeast U. S., North Central U. S., Northwest U. S., and Canada and will be arranged by the rescue group. (This is a courtesy posting.)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

A - LUKE, a Raleigh Boxer/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Raleigh, or seeking a Boxer/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Raleigh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Raleigh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Raleigh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Boxer/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Raleigh paves the way for another one to be saved.
