Charleston's Story...
Charleston is a 9 week old lab mix boy. He is currently 8lbs and is expected to be between 35-45lbs. He is playful, sweet, great with kids, cats and even big dogs. He is crate trained.

Charleston is available to arrive this Saturday, March 25th! He is fully vetted including neuter, shots, microchip and worming.

We are a Georgia based rescue so all of our animals live in loving foster homes here in Georgia, and are then transported to the Northeast once adopted. Our transport arrives every Saturday morning to several cities from CT to NJ. Our puppies are adopted very quickly, so please submit an application right away so you dont miss your chance to get one of these cuties! Applications are found at www.sosrescuega.org/application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charleston, a Sturbridge Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Sturbridge, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Sturbridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sturbridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sturbridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sturbridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
