Phoenix's Story...
With his recent rescue from the euthanasia list, Phoenix has risen from the life of a shelter cat and will most certainly find a good home with a loving family to call his own soon! He is a gorgeous cat with the biggest, fluffiest tail we've ever seen. Not shy, he hopped right onto a volunteer's shoulder, happily perching there while she did her chores. Needless to say he is very comfortable being held! Once he had all four paws on the ground, he went to work playing with the toys in the room and taking extra delight in chasing the toys the volunteer threw for him! He checked out his other feline roommates without a hiss or a growl. Keep checking for updates as we get to know more about this outgoing boy's personality...

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phoenix, a Phoenix Himalayan cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Himalayan for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Himalayan cat from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Himalayan breeders who help with Himalayan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
