My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Diamond has managed to live up to her name. She is absolutely precious and a rare breed! She's a Queensland Heeler that's very mellow and calm. She may be a big dog (40lbs) but she thinks she's a lap dog! She loves people and will crawl right into your lap and try to cuddle with you. Yes, she'll literally sit on your lap and put her chin on your shoulder! She's definitely not shy about showing you how much she cares. In the short time she's been at RESCUE - we have yet to find a volunteer that hasn't FALLEN IN LOVE with her! Here's what some of our volunteers wrote after spending some time with Diamond:

"What a sweetheart she is...she is very loving and a joy to be around."

"I think she is such a wonderful dog and I can't wait for her to find a wonderful home even though I'm really gonna miss her."

Diamond loves to take long walks and show off her impeccable leash skills. She's just discovered going to the pet store and absolutely loves it. We believe Diamond's true SOULMATE is out there and we can't wait to unite them.
