‘Ey! How you doin’? Our names are Topper (5 yrs old; black and white) and Paddington (9 yrs old; white) and we are the most handsome Havanese pups around. But don’t let our age fool you, as I am still a spunky guy! I may not like going for long walks, but I do love to play with my toys and run around the house. Though, there really is nothing I love more than attention, whether it is from my human or even those dog friends too! I am hilarious and entertaining with my funny old man antics.

After a little play time, I am ready to settle in with you on the couch to watch some tv, as you give me lots of love! I am looking for someone who has the time to hang out with me during these retirement years. My brother, Topper, is not dog or kid friendly towards others, so we have to have a home with NO KIDS AND NO OTHER DOGS. Ready to add a little comedy to your life? We are a bonded pair so we would need to be adopted together. I, Paddington, do have a grade 4/6 murmur with some heart enlargement, but my lungs are clear. The vet prescribed enlapril, which is a pretty cheap medication and she said it's probably just a "normal" leaky heart valve that is very common in small breed dogs.  I'm healthy and happy otherwise!

About Rock City Rescue- ME chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

We are committed to rescuing and rehoming dogs and cats who have been abandoned or surrendered. We pull dogs from high kill shelters to help them to be united with loving forever home, as well as help rehome animals found as strays and help families rehome their own pets they can no longer care for.

Our Adoption Process...

All animals 3 months or older must be sterilized prior to adoption. There is an adoption contract that's signed once an adopter has been approved for an adoption. There's no fee to apply for a dog, but adoption fees vary from dog to dog.

Currently, this rescue is run by one person and a variety of foster homes. We have full-time jobs like everyone else, so please be patient with us while we return your calls and emails. 90% of the time calls and emails are returned with 48-72 hours.
