WIGGINS's Story...
WIGGINS is a little larger dog at about 65 pounds. He is a handsome black and white pup that enjoys attention from his people. He prefers the company of people to other dogs but he is living with 11 other dogs in Luther Luckett's Paws Behind Bars prison training program and doing just fine! He is fully vetted, including neuter, up to date vaccinations, heartworm testing, flea preventative, heartworm preventative and microchip. His muzzle has white specks but this gentle dog is only about 5 years of age. He's got a kick in his step for playing or walking around the neighborhood and he also enjoys taking an afternoon nap! If you'd like to meet this handsome boy, please contact Adopt Me! Bluegrass Pet Rescue at email: adoptmebpr@aol.com or phone to 502-777-1442.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

WIGGINS, a LaGrange Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in LaGrange, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in LaGrange.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in LaGrange already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a LaGrange breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in LaGrange paves the way for another one to be saved.
