Calling all fans of big, fluffy cats! And if you have a heart for senior pets, Catalina is the perfect girl for you. This beautiful cat arrived at a local animal shelter as a stray with dirty and matted fur, but she had all the hallmarks of a once beloved pet. She adores people and attention, she's microchipped (sadly, the microchip was never registered to whomever had her chipped!), AND she's front declawed. Our vet even suspected that she had had a relatively recent teeth cleaning. What an incredible shame that no one ever came looking for her at the shelter. Catalina has become a foster favorite, settling in easily and relaxing quickly. She's not crazy about other cats, but she only gives an occasional hiss, no striking or biting. She seems to be used to small children, and is very tolerant of her foster mom's young grandchildren. Her very favorite thing is an evening meal of canned cat food. Catalina is a great cat to have around, and is very easy to enjoy. Catalina is spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, fully vaccinated (inluding rabies), treated to prevent fleas and other ickies, and completely litter box trained. She has been examined by our vet and estimated to be a minimum of 10 years old and in good health. We did have to shave some of her tummy fur to relieve her of some painful mats. Catalina is front declawed, so we're committed to finding her a new family that will keep her indoors only. If you'd like to meet Catalina, or if you have any questions, please contact Terri at or 925-487-7279.

About Allie's Pals Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Allie’s Pals Cat Rescue is a non-profit organization devoted to the well-being and rescuing of cats and kittens throughout the TriValley. We are dedicated individuals who find joy in creating healthy environments and, ultimately, forever homes for cats and kittens that otherwise may not have the opportunity to enhance the lives of people. We encourage the positive collaboration of area feline rescues in order to maximize efforts for all who share in the goal of treating, rehabilitating, and rescuing cats and kittens from public shelters. Our combined years of experience are proof of our commitment to nurturing furry felines and offering temporary foster homes while screening potential adoptive families.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Many of our adult cats are shown at the Dublin Petsmart, located at 6960 Amador Plaza Road, Dublin (Alameda County), CA, and may be viewed during the store's normal business hours.

Adoptions interviews are by appointment; potential adopters may contact the person listed on either listings or at the Dublin Petsmart.

Kittens, when available for adoption, are shown at the Dublin Petsmart on Saturdays (11:30 am - 3:00 pm), and Sundays (noon - 3:00 pm).

Our Adoption Process...

Before the posting of our cats or kittens for adoption, they have been spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV and FIV, microchipped for identification (Allie's Pals Cat Rescue takes responsibility for registering your new pet's microchip for you!), and are current on their age-appropriate vaccinations, wormings, and flea prevention treatments.

All potential adopters are subject to the approval of an Adoption Counselor with Allie's Pals; our sole goal is to help make sure our cats and kittens are placed in PERMANENT, safe, compatible and loving homes.

All adopters will be required to sign an Adoption Contract, and will be provided with complete health and behavioral information about their new pet. Adoption fees apply: Cats over the age of six months ($50.00), single kittens up to the age of six months ($75.00), two kittens up to the age of six months and adopted at the same time ($125.00).
