Tiger's Story...
Everyone meet Tiger... He was found as a stray severely matted and just in bad shape. He sat out his stray hold but his owners never came forward so we were asked to help with this sweet boy. He appears to be a Shih Tzu (possibly a mix) around 1-2 years old and 15 lbs. He's a super sweet boy. He rides well in a car and walks on leash. He's been started with house and kennel training. He does fine in a crate and is very quiet. He's great with other animals. He will be vet checked and fully vetted tomorrow and will then be ready for his forever home. Get your apps in now on this sweet boy. He won't last long!!

All dogs have a $150 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiger, a Grand Bay Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Grand Bay, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Grand Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
