Elena Barn Buddy's Story...
Hi! My name is Elena. I'm a 7 month old Domestic Short Hair. I have been spayed, de-wormed, micro-chipped, and I have received my vaccinations. I will still require a rabies vaccine after I am adopted.

I'm a sweet girl that loves to be pet and cuddled. I love to sniff around my new surroundings before becoming completely comfortable, but after that I'll make myself right at home on the couch or your lap, or even track down the cat toys that I know are in the vicinity somewhere and start playing! I'm still young so I have energy to burn off, but there's nothing quite like a good all day nap. I am part of the barn buddies program here at the shelter as I would do best in an outdoor home. So do I sound like the girl for you? Come and meet me today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elena Barn Buddy, a Lloydminster Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lloydminster, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Lloydminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lloydminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lloydminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lloydminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
