Francois's Story...
I'd like you to meet François, a sweet gentleman. He is close to three years of age, and was rescued from SF Animal Care and Control. He wasn't being made available for adoption because he was shut down in the shelter.

Luckily, the moment that François arrived in his foster home he brightened right up! He LOVES sleeping on the bed and cuddling. He is a very soft and gentle boy who gets along just fine with other dogs. In these photos you can see he has not been groomed. Because he was just neutered we will need to wait 10 days prior to bathing him. So, come meet him soon if you're looking for a great fella.... or stay tuned for new photos!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Francois, a San Francisco Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in San Francisco, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in San Francisco.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Francisco already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Francisco breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Francisco paves the way for another one to be saved.
