Sunshine's Story...
Meet Sunshine; she is 5 lb 1 yr old Long Haired Chihuahua.
What we know so far about Sunshine is she was found as a stray by animal control. She ended up at our local shelter, and no one came looking for her. She was scared in the shelter environment and did not pass her behavior evaluation and could not proceed to the shelter's adoption center. She needed to be rescued, so ahome4spot stepped up and saved her.
The Sunshine at this point is just a little scared in her foster home. She is coming around slowly. She is ok with other dogs and so far appears to be house trained. Sunshine will probably need a quiet environment at first to let her relax and fully trust people.
We will update her information as we get to know her better.
To meet Sunshine, please fill out an interest form at www.ahome4spot.com and text her foster mom.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sunshine, a Las Vegas Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
